Dr. Richard Jeffrey Conner, MD

Dr. Richard J.Conner, partner for the last 14 years at Tri Valley Urology Medical Group, graduated  Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry from Point Loma College.  He continued onto medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where he graduated in 1988.  After this, Dr. Conner completed both an internship and residency at Naval Medical Center in San Diego, with the internship through the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and his five year residency in the Department of Urology.  During his time in school, Dr. Conner earned a Lange Medical Award, a Navy Achievement Medal, and was named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology.

He is licensed in the state of California and holds certification from the American Board of Urology.  He is also certified through the National Board of Examiners.  Dr. Conner is a member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Government Service Urologists.  He also serves as a fellow for the American College of Surgeons.  Furthermore, he has hospital privileges at three hospitals in California.

He has served as an investigator on several research and clinicial trials related to prostate cancer and bladder issues, and has been a presenting author at seminars and meetings across the United States.
